Christ the King Retreat
Center Masterplan
Professional Design
Group designed the masterplan for King's House to best optimize the retreat center's
idyllic location on Lake Buffalo. At
King's House, it was our goal to address the practical and aesthetic needs that will
allow King's House to move forward with their present and future growth
needs. The outcome is a
"catalog" of ideas, a guide for building size, pathways, cost and
placement, and documentation for future generations of how these decisions were made. |

Brown Printing Company
Brown
Printing located in Waseca, Minnesota, is one of America's leading producers of business
and trade publications; special interest consumer magazines; consumer and business to
business catalogs.
Jim Braucher has worked for Brown Printing
Company (BPC) since their roof collapsed in January 1988. Mr. Braucher, who worked at a
prior firm, acted as the consultant throughout the entire reconstruction and remodel
process, formulating a fast-tracked plan for all of the architectural design, as well as
structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering systems. A 24-hour, seven day per week
demolition and construction schedule enabled BPC to be up and running within three weeks
after the collapse and to meet their targeted rebuild date of 15 weeks.
Since that time, Jim has continued the working relationship with BPC and has
currently completed a $2 million expansion to their new West Press Room Addition. To date,
Professional Design Group has worked on over 60 projects and our prior experience includes
over 70 projects. |
