St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church
New Ulm, Minnesota This project addded a fellowship hall, meeting and classroom spaces, and an administrative area to this historically significant landmark in New Ulm. Working closely with the church's building committee, PDG produced design options that were evaluated to determine the best design approach. The goal for this large scale addition was to best serve the congregation's needs while respecting the surrounding architecture. |

St. John's Evangelical
Lutheran Church New Ulm, Minnesota St. John's Lutheran Church is currently in the schematic design phase. Professional Design Group is currently working on a design solution that will satisfy the needs of the growing fellowship. The projected 12,000 square foot addition will include handicapped accessibility, educational classrooms, administrative offices, meeting rooms, and fellowship hall. Site issues have been addressed with a drive through canopy and protected gallery along with increased parking area. |

St. Michael's Church Prior Lake, Minnesota Professional Design Group first assisted St. Michael's Church in 1995 by helping this growing congregation expand their church facilities to include a new fellowship hall, kitchen, and larger childcare areas. New toilet rooms, egress corridors, and an elevator addition also helped the parish meet prevailing regulations for wheelchair accessibility and life safety. PDG recently completed a cry room addition for St. Michael's Church. The 4,000 square foot addition includes a cry room adjacent to the main sanctuary. The lower level includes a corridor as well as a storage area to accommodate the adjacent social hall. The cry room increases the congregation's seating by 200 seats. The tiered seating is separated from the main sanctuary by a screen of windows, allowing parishioners with young children to participate in the service without disrupting it. Construction of the addition was completed in October, 2002. |

St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran
Church Mankato, Minnesota The Jesus Loves Me Learning Center is a daycare addition to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Four large classrooms each with separate toilet, storage space, and work counter provide ample opportunity for child play and learning. An office suite with reception area allows administrative staff to conduct the business at the facility without being totally separated from the children. Space has been provided for the future installation of a full service kitchen, including dish handling and food storage. A large meeting room with folding partition provides a space for group activities and is flexible enough to accommodate small groups or a large gathering. |
