Proposed to honor the long time service of Councilman Bruce Nawrocki, the pavilion is designed to accommodate numerous park functions including music and theater performances, meetings, and picnicking.

Professional Design Group produced the design for the park structure along with accompanying fundraising posters, brochures, and a scale model for the Columbia Heights Block Builders to promote the proposed project.
