Laura Baker Services New Cottage

The Laura Baker Services Association operates from a campus on the east side of Northfield. Bounded by the Carleton College Arboretum on the east and residential neighborhoods to the south, west and north of the site is nicely covered with mature trees, well maintained lawns, and playground areas. The Laura Baker Services Association currently provides on campus assisted living to thirty-seven residents. In addition, The Laura Baker School offers special education classes for residents and students having difficulties in the public school system. Professional Design Group has created a long range plan designed to build three new cottages, remodel two existing cottages and demolish one out dated structure. Cottage number 1 is now built with funding in process to complete the long range plan.
