Wirsbo Company was founded over 375 years ago in Wirsbo, Sweden. For over twenty-five years Wirsbo’s (now Uponor) North American facilities have set the industry standards for high quality PEX tubing. PDG has built a strong relationship since 1995 with Uponor’s Apple Valley facility providing architectural and engineering services for a wide range of projects. - 1995 - designed a 16,800 square foot manufacturing addition for housing extrusion equipment.
- 1996 - 31,500 square foot warehouse addition for Uponor. The project included five new loading docks and a new trash compactor system.
- 1997 - 16,800 square foot manufacturing addition for housing additional extrusion equipment.
- 1998 - Training Center and Office addition.
- 2001 - 13,000 square foot office remodel.
- 2005 - 23,000 square foot Corporate Office addition and 18,000 s.f. Manufacturing addition.
- 2006-2007 - Continuing facility expansion planning for office and manufacturing.
- 2006-2007 - Developing expansion planning for Site Selection for a new remote facility.
